Master Plan: "Electric Baile (Enzo Elia Vocal Edit)"
Originally released by Sunset Records in 1986, “Electric Baile” is a classic track by Master Plan, the Chicago-based dance music project of vocalist Pepper Gomez and keyboardist Tom O’Callahan. Produced by Matt “The Mighty” Warren, this stomping disco cut perfecly mixes new wave, disco and house with strong latin freestyle vibes, typical of Chicago at that time. Here you have for you the very first re-edit of “Electric Baile” by Italian edit maestro Enzo Elia. His vocal edit of the track is a dancefloor killer. It appears on the “Electric Baile / Pushin’ Too Hard (Gerd Janson & Enzo Elia Edits)” EP, which was released on Running Back as part of its “Super Sound Singles” series. The record also includes a dub and a useful bonus beat version of “Electric Baile” and two quality edits of “Pushin’ Too Hard” by Gerd Janson. Excellent stuff all round!
