Tristesse Contemporaine: “Waiting (Acid Washed Remix)”

After releasing their excellent Pilooski-produced debut album last year, Tristesse Contemporaine, the Parisian trio of Narumi, Léo and Maik, return with their new five-track EP “Woodwork” for Record Makers.

The release also features a great, dark remix of the lead single “Waiting” by French electro duo Acid Washed, who always deliver something special. Give it a spin above, and watch the video for “Waiting”, which contains footage of Andy Warhol’s eating a Burger King hamburger, a scene from Jørgen Leth’s 1981 film “66 Scenes from America”.

Tristesse Contemporaine’s EP “Woodwork” is out now via Dirty/Record Makers.
