Route 8: “Dry Thoughts”

Budapest-based producer Gergely Szilveszter Horváth returns under his Route 8 alias for his first release, the “Dry Thoughts” EP, on London-based label Lobster Theremin. Following last year’s impressive “Eleda” EP for the Greek label Nous, Route 8 continues to turn out quality tunes with “Dry Thoughts”, a collection of four smoldering, luscious, and pad-driven house tracks with crystalline synths and skittering rhythms. Our favorite cut from the release is the EPs title track, a seven-plus minute ride to your own Pacific paradise.
