Adelaide’s Luke Million, a producer of all things Italo-disco and funky, needs little introduction, and needless to say that we’ve played his solid tracks and remixes on our car stereo a million times. The curly haired synth wizard of Australian duo The Swiss has already wowed us with his two EPs “Italo Journey”/”Octobussy”, which paid homage to Vangelis and Jean Michel Jarre, and “Arnold”/”Sun Splash”, both released on Future Classic, not to mention his delicious synth-filled reworks for Auxiliary Tha Masterfader, City Riots, Olympic Ayes and Moullinex, just to name a few.
After a long wait, Luke Million is ready to drop his superb new solo EP “Midnight Galaxy” on Nurvous Records, which comes complete with fine remixes by the likes of Grum, Poupon, and Pete Herbert. The EPs catchy lead single “Midnight” is a “spacey tale of an unrequited love, while “Galaxy” boasts a pumping bassline that will sweep us all up into an uncontrollable frenzy post breakdown.” Both tracks showcases his ability to create quality tracks.
Today, we’re excited to premiere this amazing dancefloor-ready remix of Luke Million’s new single “Midnight” by Leeds-based producer Grum, who never fails to disappoint. You can now listen to Grum’s remix, exclusively on La.Ga.Sta. Just perfect for your next late-night drive. As a bonus, you can download a beautiful, stripped-down version of “Midnight” from Luke Million himself. Grab the “Candlelight” mix for free below.
